Korean Air A380 Upcycled Collection
As part of its sixth upcycling project breathing new life into retired aircraft, Korean Air is proud to debut, for the first time, a collection of goods ingeniously crafted from its A380 fleet. On May 30, through its official brand merchandise portal, e-Skyshop, Korean Air released exclusive name tags and ball markers fashioned from the fuselage of an A380-800 aircraft.
The name tags, designed to capture the allure of the A380, often lauded as a “hotel in the sky,” are available in two distinctive designs: one echoing the aircraft’s silhouette and another evoking its iconic windows. This collection is doubly significant as it is the first upcycled line to bear Korean Air’s new taegeuk (the Korean national symbol) emblem and is being released in limited quantities due to the unique nature of the source material. Korean Air plans to continue leading a sustainable aviation culture by artfully reimagining retired aircraft materials into cherished memorabilia.
Korean Air Gift Card
Korean Air presents a new, beautifully tangible way to share the thrill of travel. Beginning May 20, physical Korean Air Gift Card became available for purchase at approximately 1,000 GS25 convenience stores in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon. Previously available exclusively for online purchase, these gift cards can now be conveniently acquired offline. This new offering is the result of collaboration between Korean Air and GS Retail. Future plans include the release of a standard card-format product tailored for corporate bulk-purchasing needs.
