Korean Air Enhances Premium Lounge Experience
Korean Air is elevating the first moments of a traveler’s journey with its airport lounges. The newly renovated spaces at Incheon and Los Angeles airports have moved beyond the notion of a pre-boarding waiting area, becoming destinations that build anticipation for the trip ahead.
Passengers can experience Korean Air’s hospitality in a sophisticated space that captures the essence of modern Korean luxury.
Incheon, the Main Hub
Ahead of its planned integration with Asiana Airlines, Korean Air has transformed its lounges at Incheon International Airport into a premium space befitting its role as the carrier’s key hub. With the renewal, the airline will operate seven lounges at Terminal 2, with total lounge space increased by around 2.5 times its previous scale and seating capacity increased significantly to enhance comfort and convenience. The Prestige Class West Lounge, the largest lounge at the airport, and the Prestige Garden East and West, drawing inspiration from Eastern and Western garden design traditions, offer refined spaces for rest. The newly reimagined First Class Lounge features private suites and personalized dining services, delivering a premium experience for top-tier passengers.
Transforming Time Into Experience
Korean Air is revamping its lounges into spaces for enjoyment that go beyond mere relaxation. The Prestige Garden East Lounge features a cooking studio, a customizable ramyeon library and an arcade room with games and photo booths. Live cooking stations and a dedicated bar service further extend the food and beverage offerings, turning time spent in the lounge into a part of the travel experience itself.
Global Expansion From LA
Korean Air brings its innovative lounge concepts to Los Angeles International Airport. Reopened in March after a 22-month renovation, this flagship facility is the airline’s largest directly operated overseas lounge. The space balances contemporary Korean aesthetics with LA’s vibrant energy. Locally inspired dining offerings reflect both regional character and the airline’s refined identity. Korean Air plans to renovate additional lounges in major global hubs, including New York’s JFK airport, establishing a global network that delivers world-class service synonymous with its status as a leading global airline.
